The 18th annual “Frank Kush 5K-Family & Dog Fun Run & Walk ” event, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles and benefiting Arizona youth organizations through the Frank Kush Youth Foundation, returns to Tempe Town Lake on Saturday morning, October 17th, 2009. Frank Kush (right), longtime Arizona State Head Football Coach and College Hall of Famer, believes in the importance of physical activity. Frank’s commitment to provide an event that is good for the family, while incorporating physical activity were his primary motivations in starting the race.  Frank’s longtime involvement with the Governor’s Council provided a great sounding board from which the event was developed.
